Calibration

Luminance is the measure of luminous intensity applied to an extended source, it is expressed in terms of lumens/steradian per unit area. Luminance is reported in cd/m2 or cd/ft2 called the footlambert. Units of Radiance are expressed in Watts/steradian-m2.
