SphereOptics appointed reseller of Asahi Spectra IMS-5000 LED Profiler
SphereOptics recently signed an agreement as North American provider of the IMS-5000 LED Profiler manufactured by Asahi Spectra, Co. Ltd., Tokyo Japan. Asahi Spectra Co Ltd, founded in 1970, is a leading manufacturer of optical filters, xenon light sources and optical instruments.
This partnership allows North American companies’ access to Asahi’s high quality, powerful instrument for evaluation of LEDs and small light sources. The IMS-5000 LED profiler measures spatial distribution and optical properties of the spectroradiometric, photometric and colorimetric parameters of LEDs and light sources. The instrument is computer controlled and features proprietary software for measurement and viewing data in several types of graphs, including 2D and 3D polar and standard formats. Standard stages are designed for 5 types of LEDs, and a variety of accessories are available for enhanced measurement options.
